Epynt Wind Turbine Blade Display on October 18th from 2-4pm

We have been busy working away in Sara's studio sewing an 80 metre calico turbine blade to display on our hill tops. This is craftivism in action, we used a wonderful old industrial Singer sewing machine and a tape measure!

We will be walking it across our local common which is the South end of Epynt above Sennybridge, near Brecon.

It takes a minimum of 25 volunteers to carry this enormous model blade.

We think it will play a really helpful part in giving people scale context.

To fold this beauty takes two people half an hour!

If you or your community would like to borrow it over the winter to walk across your hill tops please get in touch.
